Brief Description:
POH Hideathon 2025 is Telangana’s first inclusive innovation challenge for Persons with Disabilities (PwDs), empowering youth (ages 18–25) to turn purpose-driven ideas into entrepreneurial solutions. Participants gain mentorship, funding, and incubation support.
Detailed Description:
POH Hideathon 2025 is a first-of-its-kind statewide initiative to foster inclusive entrepreneurship among youth in Telangana. Designed for young innovators between 18 and 25 years of age, including Persons with Disabilities (PwDs), the challenge provides a platform to present impactful solutions to real-world problems across 10 innovation categories, including Health, AI, Cybersecurity, and Rural Innovation.
Conducted in five key phases, the program includes assessments, idea submission, shortlisting, pitch deck preparation, and a grand finale at T-Hub, Hyderabad. Finalists will pitch their ideas before a live jury, win prizes worth ₹1,00,000, and receive incubation and employment opportunities.
Organized by Gurthimpu Foundation and Weave Foundation, in collaboration with DEET and TASK, and powered by the Pride of Hyderabad Awards 2025, this initiative is a major step toward accessible and inclusive entrepreneurship in India.
