In a bid to enhance employment opportunities for its youth on an international scale, the Bihar government has introduced ‘Project Mandhar’, a specialized initiative aimed at providing German language training to local students. The program is being implemented in collaboration with the Bihar-Jharkhand Fraternity Munich (BJFM) in Germany.

Under this initiative, students enrolled in various Industrial Training Institutes (ITIs) across Bihar will undergo an intensive three-month German language course. The objective is to equip them with the linguistic proficiency required to explore overseas employment prospects, particularly in Germany, which has a growing demand for skilled workers.

The program will be conducted in select ITIs across multiple districts of the state, including Digha Ghat (Patna), Purnia, Madhaura (Saran), Gaya, Darbhanga, Munger, and Bhagalpur. These centers have been strategically chosen to ensure accessibility for a broad section of students keen on acquiring language skills that could open doors to better career opportunities abroad.

The initiative aligns with Bihar’s broader efforts to enhance skill development and global employability among its youth. By equipping students with German language proficiency, Project Mandhar aims to bridge the gap between local talent and international job markets, fostering a new wave of overseas employment opportunities for skilled workers from the state.
